ABOUT
Yoshitomo is an intimate sushi bar in Benson serving up high-quality, Japanese-inspired dishes and some of the best sushi around. The menu features nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls, along with sake, wine, cocktails, and Japanese beers to pair. It’s a small, cozy spot and many locals say it’s some of the best sushi in the Midwest, so reservations are definitely recommended since tables fill up fast. It’s on the pricier side, but the experience is worth it. And if you would rather stay in, they also offer a to-go menu so you can enjoy their sushi from home!

Every dish at Yoshitomo is thoughtfully selected by Chef David. We went is expecting the kind of sushi you’ll find at most spots and ended up completely blown away by how creative and unique everything was. The menu is made up of starters, bites, and plates, all crafted with high-quality ingredients and some of the finest fish and meats around. In addition to dinner, Yoshitomo also serves brunch. Some dishes that standout include the yaki gindara, baraniku, hama toast, and unagi. Their menu will make you want to try a little bit of everything!
