Every year, the Water Lantern Festival floats into Omaha, bringing evenings of light, connection, and unforgettable memories! This family-friendly event invites folks of all ages to gather with friends to enjoy live entertainment, tasty bites from local food trucks, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels straight out of a dream. You can create and decorate your own lanterns before launching it onto the water, where they’ll glow under the night sky in a beautiful display.
PLAN YOUR VISIT
There are a few different ticket options: General Admission ($36.96), VIP Tickets ($62.96), Date Night Special ($89.02), and the Family/Friends 4 pack ($30.96)! Admission for children 8 and under are free. Make sure to bring your event ticket, a blanket or camping chair, your camera to capture the moments, and bug spray!

CREATE YOUR LANTERN
Never launched a water lantern before? Here’s how it works!
1. Decorate your lantern with messages of empowerment, remembrance, and connection
2. Push the four rods into each corner of the lantern base and slide the paper sleeve over the rods
3. Place the LED candle in the center of the lantern
4. Listen for instructions and launch your lantern during the designated window
