There is a brand-new bar in Little Bohemia! Platypus Bar is all about bold vibes, killer drinks, and snacks that steal the show. Step inside to find a space where vintage 1970s design meets a modern, welcoming atmosphere. From reclaimed wood floors to funky lighting, every corner of Platypus is built to feel like home… if your home had incredible wine and an iconic panini! They also pride themselves on being a queer-friendly space where everyone feels like they belong!

At the Platypus Bar, you can expect a wine list that’s approachable but unique, where the team does the hard part so you can just relax and enjoy. They also have cocktails and the snacks are definitely not an afterthought! Enjoy small bites, including the famous @block16.jessnpaul Panini. When we visited, we tried out the drink “The Jane” and loved every second of the vibes at this place!
LOCATION & HOURS
The Platypus Bar is located at 1409 South 13th Street and is open Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-12am, Friday and Saturday from 3pm-1am, Sunday from 12pm-10pm and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays!
