The Barber Shop is a hidden speakeasy and downstairs lounge beneath Blackstone Social, paying tribute to the city’s Italian barbering roots. In the early days, barbers like Dominic “Don” DiGlacomo helped build a tight-knit community, operating in the very space now home to Blackstone Social. These barbershops were more than just places for a haircut — they were hubs for storytelling, camaraderie, bourbon, and even a little gambling. The Barber Shop carries this legacy forward, offering a high-energy bar experience that embraces the old-world charm and spirit of Omaha’s first Italian barbers.

Whether you’re checking out The Barber Shop for a smooth old fashioned, a creative cocktail, or something in between, you’re sure to find a drink up your alley. They have an exceptional whiskey and scotch selection and a reasonably priced menu. When we stopped in, we loved the vibes and ordered a Lavender Blush and the Barber’s Flight!
LOCATION & HOURS
The Barber Shop is located underneath Blackstone Social, which is located at 3910 Farnam Street. They are open Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm-2am! The entrance is on the backside of Blackstone Social and down the walkway.
