Smoking Jay’s BBQ is a local barbecue joint serving up authentic, slow-cooked barbecue and homemade sides. Their pitmasters are serious about the craft, taking the time to season and smoke each cut of meat until it’s tender and full of flavor. Inside, the space has an old-school diner feel with football decor throughout and TVs playing the game. It’s a great place to stop in, hang out, and enjoy some delicious food. When we stopped by, the team was incredibly kind and welcoming, and their friendly service is a big part of what keeps people coming back!

Smoking Jay’s serves all your BBQ favorites, from tender brisket and juicy ribs to pulled pork, all seasoned with their signature rubs and sauces. You’ll find plenty of homemade sides too, like creamy coleslaw, baked beans, buttery cornbread, smoked mac and cheese, and waffle fries. You can order your meat by the pound or piled onto a sandwich, and choose between their regular or spicy signature sauce. You can also place an order online for easy pick-up!

Smoking Jay’s is located off 13th Street at 2524 S 13th St. They’re open daily from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
