Shucks is a casual seafood restaurant with three locations around the Omaha-metro area!
FOOD & DRINK
Possibly my favorite seafood place in Omaha, Shucks has a large menu full of things like oysters, shrimp, calamari, catfish, cod, crab, pasta, sandwiches, and so much more. I got a half order of the Shrimp Po’ Boy and a side of lobster bisque and let me tell you, this bisque was so good!
And if you love oysters, you’ll want to check out the Shucks Oyster Club. You can earn loyalty points based on how many different kinds of oysters on the half shell you try.
ATMOSPHERE
I went to their Legacy West location and was happy to see it had a ‘rustic charm’ feel despite being in a nicer part of town. You’ll feel like you’re in an older fish house near the coast! This location was their second one, opening in 2008, two years after their Pacific location opened in 2006 and four years before their downtown location opened in 2012.
HAPPY HOUR
According to their website, they have the best happy hour in Omaha! 😃 They strive to make happy hour more than just food and drinks, but a whole experience with a great community. Happy hour is from 2-6pm every day of the week at all three of their locations.
