It’s Time to Lace Up Your Skates, Roller Skating is Back for the Season at the RiverFront Skate Ribbon!

With the sun shining and spring in the air, roller skating is back at the RiverFront. The Skate Ribbon has transformed from a winter wonderland into a fun outdoor hangout where you can skate, hang out with friends, and enjoy the fresh air. Skating is free if you bring your own equipment, but rentals are also available on-site. Since it’s weather dependent, be sure to follow the RiverFront on Instagram for updates!
RESERVATIONS
If you’re looking to do some skating this season, waivers are required to enter the Skate Ribbon and reservations are required Friday – Sunday, both can be found on their website at theriverfrontomaha.com. Skates are available for rent if you do not have your own equipment, rentals are $5 for adults and $4 for kids 12 and under.
LOCATION & HOURS
The Skate Ribbon is located in Heartland of America Park downtown at 303 8th St. Construction is everywhere right now, so we recommend parking in the garage off Eighth Street next to Tupelo Honey, it’s the closest and easiest way to get there.
They’re open Monday – Thursday from 4pm – 9pm, Friday from 2pm – 10pm, Saturday from 11am – 10pm, and Sunday from 11am – 9pm. Don’t forget to make a reservation if you plan to skate Friday – Sunday.
