ABOUT
Primo’s Modern Mexican is a restaurant with two locations that serve up both authentic Mexican dishes along with American favorites with a small south of the border twist. The idea of Primo’s was born with the vision of three “primos” (cousins) who wanted to reawaken their family’s recipes and bring back the taste of their family’s delicious Mexican dishes. Now 4 generations later, Primo’s is a great spot to enjoy a nice meal with family, with great meals and a huge patio to enjoy during the early fall/late summer weather!
MENU
Primos has a full lineup of modern Mexican favorites, but the breakfast menu really steals the show. The kitchen puts the same care into eggs and coffee as it does into tacos and margaritas. They have toasts, omelettes, pancakes fresh off the griddle, breakfast burritos, and more. The flavors are bold yet familiar, making it the kind of breakfast you’ll think about long after you’ve left!
Of course they also have the usual favorites for lunch and dinner—fajitas, tacos, enchiladas…you name it! They also have an A La Carte menu served all day. When we stopped by for breakfast, we had the breakfast tacos and French toast combo!
LOCATIONS & HOURS
Primo’s Modern Mexican has two locations—one in Aksarben (5914 Center Street) and one in Council Bluffs (930 5th Avenue)! Hours for both locations are Sunday to Wednesday 7am-9pm and Thursday to Saturday 7am-10pm!
