Now settled in Nebraska with his family and eight children, Shahen’s love for cooking shines through every dish he serves. Each meal is a vibrant display of Afghan culinary tradition — with every bite, diners experience the unique and aromatic tastes of Afghan culture!
MENU At Shaheen’s, they’re all about sharing the real flavors of Afghanistan. The menu is packed with Afghan classics, like savory Mantu dumplings, flavorful Patay Daane (liver kabob), and the hearty Kabuli Pulao with tender lamb shanks. And you can’t leave without trying their famous Chapli Kabob—which is seasoned just right and full of flavor! If you’re looking to expand your palate and enjoy delicious food, this is a must try spot!
When we stopped by, we had the Mantu dumplings for an appetizer and for mains we had the Mix Combo, Kablui Pulao and Chicken Kurai. For drinks we had the Milk Tea aka the “Shir-Chai”!
