The Omaha Riverfront's ice skating ribbon is now open for the season!
ABOUT
The ice-skating ribbon at the Riverfront is back for the season! Located at the corner of 8th and Farnam Street, in the Heartland of America Park, the Skate Ribbon offers year-round seasonal skating options for the community. It is completely open and free to anyone bringing their own skates, but you may also rent affordable skates to get in on the fun! Overlooking the gorgeous riverfront, the scenery mixed with the fun of ice skating is a great way to spend a wintery weekend with friends or for a great date night idea!
SKATE RENTALS Ice skating is open and free to anyone who brings their own equipment, but skating rentals are also available! A skate waiver, which can be accessed on the Omaha Riverfront’s website, will need to be filled out for every visitor. Make sure to check in at the Skate Kiosk prior to entering the Skate Ribbon to verify the skate waiver has been completed. If you would like to purchase rental skates, adult skates have a $5 fee while children 12 and under can rent skates for $4. Ice skating at the Skate Ribbon is based on a reservation system. Skate rentals and general admission are for 50 minutes of skating time, which begins at the time of check-in. To reserve ice skating time, to fill out the skate waiver, and/or to rent skate, you can visit theriverfrontomaha.com!
