Oak & Acorn is a brand-new toy store that just opened last month. Their name represents the development from an acorn to a mighty oak, offering the perfect metaphor for their mission. With an emphasis on sensory toys, their goal was to bring products to Omaha that you can’t find on Amazon or at big retailers like Target. Everything you can shop in the store is from smaller brands or stores without a brick-and-mortar location. Whether you’re shopping for your own little one or are shopping for birthdays, baby showers, or holidays this is a great spot to check out, as you're supporting local and getting a special selection of goodies — the best combo!

The collection of products at Oak & Acorn are carefully curated of items, supporting those that are often woman owned, sustainable, and non-toxic. You will find all kinds of toys from art supplies, classic toys (like jack n the box), to sensory walls (with sensory rice, potion making), etc. — the selection is never ending. Their baby section has a bath line as well as clothes and other essentials, and their baby dolls are hand manufactured in Spain and smell like vanilla. They even have a whimsical section with swords, shields, fairy wings and more!
Fun fact: Oak & Acorn’s most sold toy is the play dough for both kids and adults! And not to mention, they swap out seasonal toys so there's always something new and fresh to explore.
HOURS & LOCATION
Oak & Acorn is located at 1727 Howard Street and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am-6pm and is closed on Sundays and Mondays
