Mahalo Poke

Mahalo Poke is a down-to-earth restaurant serving poke bowls with a Korean twist!

FOOD AND DRINK

Mahalo Poke has a large selection of specialty bowls or an option to build your own poke bowl! Although poke is in their name, I decided to try the K-town Spicy Pork Bulgogi on the recommendation of the owner, Hannah. This dish is one of their Korean dishes on their menu, and the side of Kimchi I got was made by Hannah's mom who is from Korea! The spicy pork wasn't too spicy and had SO much flavor. I also got a side of shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce which was delish. And last but not least, to drink I got the Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade which was some of the best lemonade I've ever had!

ATMOSPHERE

Mahalo Poke has a cute dining area with options for casual dine-in or quick take-out. The inside has a cute coastal/Hawaiian theme with a large blue flower all in the back to get those photo!

LOCATION & HOURS

Mahalo Poke is located at 6920 Pacific St near Aksarben Village and Elmwood Park. Hours are Tuesday-Sunday 11:30-8pm, closed on Mondays.
