Lauritzen Gardens is Omaha's premier botanical center. They offer over 100 acres of natural beauty at every turn and provide an array of activities to explore. With unique four-season plant displays, educational experiences, and a beautiful conservatory, this is a great spot to check out during the summer months with friends, family, or even by yourself to get in tune with nature!
EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
Lauritzen Gardens hosts a wide range of event, and activities for the whole family. With summer camps, family scavenger hunts, yoga in the gardens, dog-walking nights, antique shows, Storywalks, and other roving displays, there is always something to catch at the gardens. Field trips, birthday parties, weddings, and events are also hosted at the gardens.
PLAN YOUR VISIT
Omaha visitors can purchase an annual membership or one-time timed tickets. Admission tickets are available for guests and garden members to reserve in advance of their visit. Tickets are for a single date and guests can arrive any time during the garden's operations that day. Narrated tram tours are offered, as well as an on-site cafe and gift shop. LOCATION & HOURS Lauritzen Gardens is located right near the Omaha/Council Bluffs border at 100 Bancroft St. The gardens are open daily from 9am-5pm, and the Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory closes at 4 pm on Wednesday afternoons for collection maintenance.
