Ika Ramen & Izakaya and basement bar Kaitei

Enjoy some ramen and drinks at Ika Ramen & Izakaya and basement bar Kaitei in Benson!

ABOUT IKA RAMEN & IZAKAYA

Ika Ramen & Izakaya is a beloved ramen spot in Benson. Opened in 2015, Ika's flagship spot is a quaint, fast-paced ramen shop situated right along Maple Street. The company has since expanded to two other locations in Downtown Omaha and Papillion, as well.

The Benson shop's atmosphere is known for hip music on the sound system and graffiti-style murals along the walls, offering a modern neon punk twist to classic Japanese Izakayas.

ABOUT KAITEI

In Ika's basement, you'll find a not-so-hidden bar called Kaitei owned by the same restaurant group. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink with friends while you wait for a table to open (Ika is often hustling and bustling!), or just to add to your list on a night out on the Benson strip.

Sip on sake, try a fun cocktail, or grab a snack from the vending machine after a long bar crawl. Enter from the main restaurant or through a door in the back alley.

FOOD & DRINK

Although Ika is famous for its noods and flavorful broth, the menu is full of other delicious Japanese-inspired bites. From small plates like steam buns, fried brussel sprouts, and gyoza dumplings, to poke creations and donburi entrees, you're sure to find the perfect meal.

Ika and Kaitei both serve sake and craft cocktails, as well as other classic drinks.
