Tune in to STAR 104.5 on your radio to hear the corresponding music and join in on the fun. The fireworks will be launched from Parking Lot D (no public parking) of the CHI Health Event Center. Downtown Omaha parking meters will be free after 5 p.m. on December 31, courtesy of Park Omaha. SHINE THE LIGHT ON HUNGER Park Omaha is partnering with the Food Bank of the Heartland to offer a new and fun way to support the cause. Throughout the entire Holiday Lights Festival, you will be able to donate to Shine the Light on Hunger through the Park Omaha app or at a meter decorated as a candy cane around the metro! You don’t have to actually park at a meter to donate, but they act as a convenient spot for those interested in donating while downtown!
