Anna's Place

check out Anna's Place — An upscale speakeasy in tribute to Anna Wilson that specializes in craft cocktails

ABOUT Anna’s Place is a quaint, inclusivity-driven, bar-noir tribute to Anna Wilson, Pioneer Dame of Omaha's original red-light district. Wilson was a sex worker and philanthropist before her death in 1911, and Anna's Place aims to continue the conversation about women's bodily autonomy in celebrating her legacy. Inside the cozy space, there are bright red-light accents, a neon sign that reads "call me," and lots of other elegant and fun details that contribute to making this a great spot to grab some drinks with friends.

NEW MENU Anna's Place has curated a brand-new menu for you to try with 4 Alcoholic Floats with components that are all made in house: the Gin & Juice, Banana Split, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Strawberry Lemon. COCKTAIL TASTING EVENTS Embark on a cocktail exploration with A Cocktail Thing: Breakfast Club tasting event at Anna’s Club on August 25th. This is a 4-course cocktail tasting of their new menu with a few extras included. For tickets, you can visit annasplaceomaha.com.

LOCATION & HOURS/HOW TO ENTER Anna's Place is tucked behind a lit door that's either green or red in the lobby of Hotel Indigo at 1802 Dodge Street and is open Monday to Saturday 5pm-1am and Sundays they are closed. If the light is green, you can knock on the brass door knocker shaped like a woman to be let in. If the light is red, the bar is at capacity, and you'll have to come back later.

Best Bar I have been to in my travels across the world. This past weekend the atmosphere, the service and the cocktails knocked a quaint little favorite pub in Cork, Ireland out of my #1 Bar spot. Don't walk, RUN to Anna's Place and make it your worst kept best little secret speakeasy bar destination in Omaha!!!
