Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium has been a staple in the Omaha community for over a century. From one of the best desert exhibits in the country to an astonishing aquarium, a remarkable safari park adventure and so many more things to explore, the whole family is sure to make memories to last a lifetime. THE DESSERT DOME

As the world’s largest indoor desert, we all know and love the Desert Dome exhibit at the Omaha Zoo. Located under the world’s largest glazed geodesic dome, the Desert Dome has become a landmark for the city of Omaha. It features plant and animal life from three deserts around the world: the Namib Desert of southern Africa, the Red Center of Australia and the Sonoran Desert of the southwest United States. The Desert Dome contains 84,000 square feet across two levels and one of the most popular exhibits at the zoo!

Consistently ranked as one of the world’s top five rated zoos, Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium offers over 160 acres and 1,415 species of plants, animals and unique habitats from around the world located right here in Omaha, Nebraska. They also support the efforts of numerous field conservation projects and research projects that help ensure a future for endangered and critically endangered flora and fauna around the world as well as our own Nebraskan species’. LATE NIGHTS AT THE ZOO

Late Nights at the Zoo is a great way to make memories all summer long! At Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium, adults 21+ can experience a unique version of a wild night out on select dates from May until August. Grab your friends and visit for a relaxed evening of drinks, local food truck bites, and of course, tons of wildlife!

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is located at 3701 S 10th Street and is open 9am-5pm daily from April 1st to November 3rd, and 10am-4pm from November 4th to March 31st!
