Lola’s is a chef-driven cafe, restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Dundee, tucked inside Film Streams. What began as a small neighborhood cafe just 5 months before the world shut down in 2020, Lola’s strives to create more than just a restaurant. They strive to represent perseverance and community, while offering delicious feel good menu options. Their cafe is inspired by the rustic elegance of the Italian countryside, where generosity rules and a welcoming atmosphere thrives.
MENU
Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch or dinner, there is an array of menu items to enjoy. Eggs, overnight oats, or toasts to salads, sandwiches and snacks. If you’re a brunch lover, you’re in luck! On the weekend, you can also enjoy sourdough blueberry pancakes, brioche French toast, gluten free yogurt parfaits and so much more!
For dinner enjoy roasted chicken, vegan cauliflower steak, gluten free salmon, and more health conscious and diet friendly options. Desserts steal the show with caramelized maple tarts, chocolate cake, panna cotta, and gelato!
LOLA’S BREAD & SUBSCRIPTIONS
All of Lola’s breads consist of local rye and whole wheat flours to create the delicious artisan bread and pastries that they serve in their cafe. Each loaf is baked, shaped and hand-cut every morning, ensuring only the freshest offerings. And if you can’t get enough, you can even purchase loaves at the counter of the cafe to take home with you!
They also have a weekly sourdough subscription. Think of it as a CSA for bread! The subscription is intended for a single-day pickup on Tuesday and Friday each week. There are two subscription options: Single and Family. The Single size consists of one loaf of the baker’s choice sourdough and six sourdough bagels at $15 a week. The Family size consists of one loaf of rustic wheat, one loaf of the baker’s choice sourdough and four sourdough bagels at $20 a weak!
LOCATION & HOURS
Lola’s is located at 4952 inside Film Streams’ and is open Sunday and Monday 8am-4pm and Tuesday to Saturday 8am-9pm. Brunch is served from 8am-2pm Saturday and Sunday! The dinner menu starts at 4pm daily.
