Las Chilenas is a family-owned Chilean restaurant in Omaha that brings the heart of Chile to the Midwest with authentic, homemade dishes—especially their famous specialty empanadas! Everything is made with care, including their fresh-baked bread and housemade mayo, giving each bite a true taste of tradition. Something especially cool about Las Chilenas is that they also support the local community by offering artists and small vendors the chance to showcase and sell their work in-store at no cost. It’s a warm, welcoming spot where good food and local creativity come together!

Everything at Las Chilenas is equally tasty as it is affordable. Their menu centers around authentic Chilean comfort food like handmade empanadas (beef, neopolitan, chicken mushroom, vegetarian, etc.) along with specialty flavors. On the sweeter side, they’ve got desserts like tiramisu and carrot cake, plus a solid kids menu for the little ones! We had the beef, vegetarian and chicken mushroom empanadas along with potato pie and corn pie, chascarero sandwich, and traditional Chilean bread called Pan Amasado! For dessert we tried the berlines and the small mil hojas! To wash it all down we ordered an Iced Marepoto and a watermelon strawberry coconut Redbull boost!

Las Chilenas is located in La Vista at 8064 South 84th Street and is open Monday to Wednesday 9:30am-7pm, Thursday to Saturday 8:30am-7pm and Sundays 10am-6pm!
