This underground hideaway is filled with lush decor, so you’ll truly feel transported to a tropical island off the coast. It’s a rum bar serving up specialty cocktails, delicious treats, and plenty of tropical flavors. Open seven days a week, it’s the perfect place to slow down and unwind, especially during the colder months in Omaha!

Their drink menu features everything from your favorite classics like the Mai Tai and Rum Runner to specialty cocktails like Head Games, made with Whaler’s Dark Rum, Bacardi Spiced, Hardy Coffee Co. cold brew, banana, macadamia, and topped with toasted coconut whip. There are also group drinks that serve 10-12 people, plus a selection of brews on tap, in bottles, and in cans, as well as plenty of zero-proof options.
They also have a small food menu featuring Hawaiian-inspired bites like musubi and manapua buns, along with shareable plates and more!
LOCATION & HOURS
Laka Lono is located underground in the Old Market at 1204 Howard St. They are open seven days a week Sunday – Thursday from 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Friday from 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM, and Saturday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM.
