Hidden beneath Ika Ramen in Benson is Kaitei, a 21+ Japanese-inspired speakeasy serving specialty sake and creative cocktails. The space is filled with Japanese decor, anime playing on a vintage TV, and an impressive collection of lucky cats. It’s a great spot to grab a drink before or after dinner upstairs, or sit back, relax, and enjoy one of Omaha’s most unique speakeasy experiences!
MENU
Kaitei’s menu features a wide selection of sake along with creative specialty cocktails. We had to check it out for ourselves and tried the Magic & Muscles, and unfiltered sake mixed with rum, vanilla, and chamomile, and it was delicious! If you’re looking for unique sips that go beyond the typical bar menu, you need to add this spot to your list of places to try!
LOCATION & HOURS
Kaitei is located in Benson underneath Ika Ramen at 6109 1/3 Maple St. They are open Tuesday – Thursday from 5pm – 12am, Friday – Saturday from 5pm – 2am, and Sunday from 5pm – 12am. Kaitei is closed on Mondays.
