If you’re from Omaha, you’ve probably heard of Hollywood Candy. Tucked into the heart of the Old Market, Hollywood Candy is much more than a candy store, it’s a full-on nostalgic experience. Since 2007, it’s been providing throwback vibes, a massive candy selection, and vintage surprises around every corner. What starts as a quick visit often turns into a whole afternoon of exploring—from pinball machines and movie memorabilia to ice cream treats and classic vinyl. Whether you’re five or 55, there’s something here to make you feel like a kid again!
THE CANDY
Candy lovers, prepare yourselves. Hollywood Candy has one of the largest and most eclectic selections around. From vintage favorites like Abba-Zaba and Zagnut to international sweets from Europe and the Far East, there’s always something new or nostalgic to try. They also make their own handmade fudge and treats in-house, including their signature Peanut Butter Surprises. And for Jelly Belly fans? You’ll find the biggest selection in the entire state. Don’t forget to check out the massive Pez dispenser display, too!
FOOD & DRINK
Step into the Hollywood Diner and grab a bite straight out of the ‘50s. The menu is all about comfort food classics like burgers, hot dogs, mozzarella sticks, chicken strips, and pizzas from Omaha’s own Orsi’s Bakery. For a sweet treat to top it off, the diner can dish up old-fashioned ice cream scoops, sundaes, banana splits, and milkshakes blended the traditional way. Over 150 soda varieties are available in chilled glass bottles, and they now serve alcohol too, including seasonal, candy-inspired drinks!
We had to try out their diner, so we grabbed a cheeseburger, hamburger, smores shake and cookies & cream shake!

Hollywood Theater
A private movie screening space that seats up to 45 guests with an HD projector and Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Rent it for birthday parties, movie nights, or special events that are complete with concessions.
Hollywood Pinball & Arcade Museum
Over 60 working pinball machines, classic arcade games, and retro cabinets from the ’80s and earlier. Most run on quarters, or you can rent the whole space for a private event!
Hollywood Diner
A vintage dining spot with a laid-back vibe and a menu packed with American classics, ice cream, and unique drinks.
Vinyl Vibes
A record shop for audiophiles and music lovers. With nearly 40,000 albums in their vault, the collection is always growing. It’s the perfect place to browse for that rare gem or start your vinyl journey.

Hollywood Candy is located Downtown at 1209 Jackson Street and is open Sunday to Thursday 11am-9pm, and Friday and Saturday 11am-10pm.
