Located in the heart of the Blackstone District, First Round is your go-to elevated sports bar with 90s-themed highlights of sports, art, and music. Locally owned and operated, First Round packs in over 30 TV’s, dart league, Big Red Keno, local art works and a gastropub inspired menu with healthy options for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, keto and dairy free crowds. Whether you want to grab brunch with friends, catch a game, or are out on the town throughout the night, there is something for everyone at First Round with an energetic, new age atmosphere. Even if you aren’t a sports fan, this sports bar will be super enjoyable for you!
MENU
First Round has an extensive menu with options for all kinds of dietary restrictions, and they even have a dedicated fryer for gluten free folks. Savory comfort foods and sports bar classics line the menu, with a starting lineup consisting of yummy appetizers such as fried Mac N’ Cheese bites, Sirloin Skewers, Fried Cauliflower, and more. We tried out the Street Corn Quesadilla with Chicken, Charred Corn, Calabrian Mayo, Lime Crema, Cilantro, Tajin, which was absolutely delicious. We also had a side of the “Bases Loaded” French Fries, as well as some Calabrian Buffalo Wings. They have a great drinks menu at the bar, and we ordered the Charlie Horse which is Pink Whitney and an electrolyte mix that comes in a First Round water bottle that you get to take home with you!
LOCATION & HOURS
First Round has two locations: one in the Blackstone District at 3901 Farnam Street and another in West Omaha at 2829 South 181st Street. Their Blackstone location is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11am to 11pm, Fridays from 11am to 12am, Saturdays from 10am to 12am, and Sundays from 10am to 11am, while their West Omaha location is open Sunday to Thursday 11am-11pm and Friday to Saturday 11am-1pm!
