The Scholastic Book Fair (but in a bar) is back and this year it is exploding across both Tiny House and PLATYPUS like Santa got drunk and teamed up with a librarian on a bender.
This is a full holiday book lover’s fever dream. Crisp stacks of new books, flavorful cocktails, delirious nostalgia.
We are partnering again with Omaha’s oldest and largest independent bookstore, @bookwormomaha, because what we are not doing this year is shoveling money into the corporate furnace. We support local. We support women owned. We support queer owned. We support literacy like our lives depend on it because honestly they kind of do.
And the drinks? Absolute holiday chaos with puns. Tequila Mockingbirds. Vermouth the Bell Tolls. Archetype coffee spiked with whiskey and marshmallows melting into a little winter miracle. Brie and breadsticks like you are the Duchess of December.🍸
