Omaha Broadway Bar began in September 2024, when Curtis Reynolds launched a series of small, piano bar-style shows built around one goal: creating an intimate, high-quality live music experience. Designed as a hybrid of theatrical cabaret and classic piano bar, the concept brought together some of the area’s strongest performers in a setting that felt elevated but still welcoming. What started as a single-room show quickly gained momentum and has since grown into a highly mobile performance series, appearing in 15+ venues across Omaha and beyond, with a roster of over 150 singers and musicians from Omaha and Lincoln. Today, Broadway Bar operates as both a show and a community. Each event features a rotating lineup of standout vocalists backed by a live band, with music rooted in Broadway while expanding into jazz standards, pop, and audience requests. The experience is interactive without losing its structure, balancing thoughtfully curated performances with moments that bring the audience into the room. Depending on the venue, it can feel like an intimate piano bar, a polished cabaret, or a full concert-style event, but the foundation stays consistent: exceptional local talent, live musicians, and a shared, high-energy connection between performers and audience.
