The Holiday Lights Festival has been bringing exciting holiday activities and events to the Omaha community for over 25 years! All events run throughout the entire holiday season and are completely free for the public to attend. We put together a list of all the Holiday Lights Festival events you can check out this year!
LINEUP OF EVENTS
❄️ The Lighting Ceremony // November 29th at 6pm
Kickoff the season at The RiverFront as Gene Leahy Mall lights up for the holidays!
❄️ Old Market Lighting Display // November 29th – January 1st
Holiday lights and decor stretch from 10th – 13th & Harney – Jackson Streets. Shop the Old Market, then swing by Gene Leahy Mall to see more holiday magic!
❄️ North and South Omaha Lighting Display // November 29th – January 10th
South Omaha: 24th Street between L & Q Streets.
North Omaha: Six-block area around 24th & Lake Streets.
❄️ KETV Family Festival // December 7th from 11am – 4pm
Free family activities at The Durham Museum, Omaha Children’s Museum, Omaha Police Mounted Patrol Barn, Omaha Public Library (Downtown), The RiverFront, and YMCA (Satellite location)
❄️ New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular // December 31st at 7pm
Ring in the New Year with fireworks by the Gene Leahy Mall choreographed to music on STAR 104.5.
❄️ Shine The Light on Hunger Campaign // November 15th – December 31st
Donate non-perishable food items and monetary donations to support Food Bank for the Heartland, led by Conagra Brands Foundation.
