Every June, the heart of the baseball world beats in Omaha as fans from across the country descend on Charles Schwab Field for two weeks of unforgettable action. Since 1950, Omaha has been the home of the College World Series, one of the biggest baseball events in the country! Fan Fest
Check out the amazing activities brought to you by NCAA Corporate Champions & Partners at the FREE College World Series Fan Fest, Presented by Capitol One! Spend some time at the batting cages, sip on a cold beverage, and enjoy entertainment from the Fan Fest Main Stage throughout the College World Series. All you have to do is sign a waiver at the waiver station to enjoy all the fun!
Omaha Baseball Village
You don’t have to attend the game to have fun at the College World Series. The Omaha Baseball Village is a fun way to enjoy the atmosphere and energy with the whole family, and the best part? It’s FREE! It’s located in the Old Mattress Factory parking lot, right across from Charles Schwab Field and features local boutiques, merchandise, food trucks, live music, and beer gardens with large screens broadcasting the game. It’s open to all ages and it’s a great way experience the energy of game day without breaking the bank!
Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge
A scenic pedestrian bridge that connects Omaha to Council Bluffs and lets you stand in both Nebraska and Iowa at the same time while enjoying beautiful views of the downtown skyline and Missouri River!

There are plenty of great places to stay in Downtown Omaha if you’re visiting for the game. We included a mix of hotels near the stadium and a few options a little further away to help you find the best option to fit your budget. Just a heads up: Rooms book up fast during the tournament, so be sure to reserve your stay early!

This hotel is a little further, but trust us it’s worth it. It was built in 1916 and was known as a luxury stop during that time. They have amazing amenities including a pool, fitness center, pet-friendly accommodations, and a restaurant! It’s located in Blackstone (about a 10min drive to the stadium), home to some amazing restaurants, bars, and more!

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
With so many people traveling in to town and so many fun things happening at the College World Series, traffic will be at an all time high. That’s why we put together a little guide on where to park and how to get around Downtown Omaha, so you can be prepared before you visit!
MECA Campus (includes Charles Schwab Field and CHI Health Center)
These lots are available to pass-holders and the public. All stadium lots open up at 8:00 AM and close 90-minutes after the event, no overnight parking or in and out parking is allowed! Public lots are $15 per car.
Lot A and the MECA garage: Open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lots B & D: Reserved for parking pass-holders.
Park Omaha
Park Omaha has various surface lots, garages, and metered parking around Downtown Omaha. Park Omaha makes it easy to pay for parking with their mobile app (ParkMobile) and you can even reserve parking in advanced for game days if you don’t want to show up to a full lot! The closest lots and garages to the field are down below!

Creighton Parking
Creighton University will be offering campus parking for fans and visitors! Creighton is located right next to Charles Schwab and is only a short walk to all the game-day fun. They have several lots around their campus that are easily accessible to the stadium!

Heartland Bike Share
Heartland Bike Share is a local non-profit that lets Omaha residents ride for free with unlimited one-hour bike rides around the city. You can apply online for your free pass and start exploring! They have 400 pedal-assist ebikes and 80 stations across Omaha plus, the bikes are available 24/7 year-round. If you live outside Omaha, they also offer 24-hour passes, monthly memberships, and annual passes!
Metro & ORBT
Metro & ORBT are helping fans and visitors get around Downtown throughout the duration of the College World Series. Check below for buses and rides that are running near or close to all the action! You can download the MyRide Omaha app to plan your trip, check bus arrival times, and track buses. You can also have your fare ready to go with the Umo app.
The Ballpark Bus: A free bus running every 10 minutes with stops near the stadium
ORBT: Omaha’s rapid transit line helping get fans right to all the action. You can park at Westroads Mall for free and hop on to get Downtown in less than 30 minutes. It runs every 10 minutes (20 minutes during the evening) until Midnight. It’s $1.25 each way, and kids 18 and younger ride free!
The Fastball ORBT: This is your key to getting out of Downtown quickly! An extra ORBT will be parked at 10th & Capitol after each game and will depart 20 minutes after the game to head back to Westroads Mall!
Ride Share Apps
Of course, you can also use ride share apps like Uber and Lyft which share a designated drop-off and pick-up location outside the CHI Health Center. Just be aware that prices may be high due to the demand. Request rides a few blocks away from the stadium to avoid peak pricing and high wait times!
