ABOUT
Central Skate Shop is a skate shop in Benson with a mission to make skateboarding accessible to everyone, especially newcomers! Catering primarily to youth, the shop focuses on providing expert guidance to help skaters of all levels get started. Whether you’re selecting your first skateboard or looking for specific parts like wheels or trucks, the knowledgeable staff is there to help you choose the right equipment and even assemble your board for you. Under new ownership since January, Central Skate Shop reopened in March with a refreshed vision to further integrate the skateboarding community and make skate culture more inclusive to the public!
BENSON FIRST FRIDAYS
Something super cool about Central Skate Shop is that they are very integrated into the Benson Community. They are involved in BFF Omaha’s non profit work and plays an active role in the local arts and skateboarding scenes throughout town. They are one of the galleries showcased at Benson First Fridays, where different local artists are featured each month! The shop aims to offer a platform for artists and skaters alike to connect and share their passions, so Benson First Fridays would be a great time to check them out!
Through their passion for making art accessible for everyone, Central Skate shop is open to merchandising collaborations with artists as well!

Central Skate Shop is located in Benson at 2905 N 59th Street and is open Thursdays 3pm-8pm, Friday 3pm-8pm, Saturday 12pm-7pm, and Sunday 12pm-6pm!
